FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION(S)

Terms and Conditions:

What are the terms and conditions for NOTM travel services?

International Travel Information:

What is the best way to book my flight?

  • We recommend using travel comparison sites like Expedia or Google Flights to check for available flights and compare prices. However, for your convenience and flexibility, we advise booking directly through the airline. This ensures a smoother process if you need to make changes to your flight, as it cuts out the middleman and allows for easier exchanges or modifications. Please note, if we book the flight on your behalf, all bookings are final, and there will be no refunds or exchanges.

How can I apply for a tourism visa and can NOTM assist with the process?

  • You have two options. NOTM can assist you in the visa application process for an additional fee. Alternatively, you can apply independently at the destination(s) visa website. If you choose NOTM’s assistance, please contact us at info@nurseonthemove.com for more details on the service.

What types of visas are available for Ghana, and when should I obtain them?

  • There are two main types of visas for Ghana:

    • Multiple Entry Visa (valid for 5 years)

    • Single Entry Visa (valid for 3 months)

We recommend obtaining a Multiple Entry Visa for greater flexibility, especially if you plan to travel to Ghana multiple times. However, if the Single Entry Visa is a better option for you, it should be obtained approximately one month prior to your travel date.

What health precautions should I take regarding food and medications?

  • We recommend bringing medications such as Imodium, Pepto Bismol, and anti-nausea medicine to help with any potential digestive issues during your trip. It's important to avoid drinking water from the faucet, consuming ice cubes, or eating raw vegetables. Bottled water is safe for consumption, so you can rely on that throughout your stay. We also suggest packing your preference of snacks in your carry-on for convenience.

Please inform us ahead of time if you have any dietary restrictions, so we can accommodate your needs accordingly.

What are the vaccination requirements?

  •  For most international destinations, it is mandatory to have a Yellow Fever vaccination. We recommend making an appointment at your local health office as soon as possible, especially with the increased demand for vaccines. In addition to the Yellow Fever vaccine, Malaria prevention is crucial. Be sure to obtain Malaria pills and follow the prescribed dosage during your trip. Please remember to bring proof of your vaccinations and health requirements when you travel.  Health requirements are not included in price quote

What if I need to go to the hospital or I get sick?

  • In the event that you need medical attention, there are both private and public hospitals and clinics available in all cities and larger towns. We strongly recommend that all tourists obtain medical insurance prior to travel to cover any potential medical contingencies while abroad.

How much money does NOTM suggest I should expect to spend during the trip?

  • NOTM recommends budgeting approximately $1000 for your spending during the trip. However, individual spending patterns may vary, and it’s always better to have more spending money than not enough. Feel free to plan according to your preferences and activities.
